As we approach the closing of 2023, let us unwrap some of the highlights that made this year a real gift for Ambra Spirits Distillery!

  1. The Opening of our NEW Distillery

On March 20, 2023, our Award-Winning Adelaide Distillery closed its doors to undergo a major transformation. After several months of dedicated effort, we proudly reopened the doors to our newly renovated, cutting-edge distillery in Thebarton on November 2, 2023! This achievement is a great source of pride for us, and we couldn’t wait for you to experience our brand-new cocktail menu, cocktail bar and extended function space; showcasing our Adelaide Gins and Liqueurs and an Italian-inspired tapas menu, just in time for your end-of-year festivities!

  1. 25 Year Anniversary

This year we celebrated a quarter-century in the Spirits and Distillery Industry, and it was a momentous occasion for us to say the least. We are honoured to have been serving our loyal and local customers for so many years, and extend the pleasure of serving our Handcrafted Liqueurs, Gins and Spirits beyond the borders of South Australia. Our enduring values, established since the inception of our brand in 1998, continue to withstand the test of time and we strongly believe that our founder, Libero De Luca, would be proud of the legacy we have built for Ambra Spirits.

  1. Limoncello Sour Beer

This year, we expanded our horizons beyond Spirits, delving into the world of beer. Teaming up with the pioneering Barossa Valley Brewing, we brought together two award-winning South Australian family-owned businesses, resulting in something truly exceptional: the Limoncello Sour Beer. This one-of-a-kind creation merges the invigorating citrus essence of our Award-Winning Limoncello with the craftsmanship of Barossa Valley Brewing’s beer. The result? A flavour profile that combines the best of both worlds, promising a uniquely delightful taste experience.

  1. Ambra Premix Cans

On October 1, 2023, we introduced a fresh twist to our flagship Limoncello with the launch of Ambra Premix Cans. Elevating the Ambra experience this summer, we concocted 2 brand new flavour profiles: Limoncello with Vodka and Limoncello with Cranberry. These flavours have already captured your palate at the close of 2023, and which we trust that they will also be your companions throughout the summer of 2024.

  1. Cocktail Making Classes

With the re-opening of our local South Australian Distillery, we had the pleasure of re-launching our crowd-favourite cocktail making classes, where you learnt the art mixology… the Ambra way. Gathered around our purpose-built cocktail bar, our mixologist guided you every shake of the way; and it was a treat to see you all enjoying your Ambra creations afterwards.

  1. Adelaide’s newest Gin is coming…

We can’t reveal too much yet… but what we can tell you is that the end of 2023 saw us getting creative in our Distillery with a brand-new flavour profile concocting Adelaide’s newest release Gin! Look out for this handcrafted Gin infused with our secret Australian Botanicals early in the new year! All will be revealed very soon.
